Seattle/Bainbridge Island 2017 Pt. 2

As promised, less words, more pictures.

Day two in Seattle brought me down to the waterside to meet my cousin Jill for breakfast at the Edgewater Hotel. Kari and Jason eventually joined us and we headed to the Space Needle and ventured around Pikes Place Market before heading to the ferry to go to Bainbridge Island where the rest of our festivities would take place.

I like to call this photo series #50shadesofblue

Once we arrived on Bainbridge we cleaned up and headed over to my Aunts house for pre-dinner beverages and to see her home. It was beautiful and right on the water. After our drinks, we loaded in to our cars and drove to the North end of the island for a little welcome dinner for out of town family.

My cousin and his family rented an amazing home right on the water that was able to accommodate all 50+ of us for dinner.

On our third day in the PNW we explored the town of Winslow on Bainbridge and let me tell you something, I've never wished to be a 65 year old retiree more in my life. Half way there...

This town was like something out of a Hallmark movie, and it didn't hurt that every where you turned was family you hadn't seen in several months so you were always greeted with a happy hello and a hug.

That evening was the wedding reception at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Arts that my Aunt works at. Sadly I kept my phone in my purse and tried to focus on spending time with family, but the space is absolutely beautiful and they had a really cool under water glass exhibit, think glass crabs and glass jelly fish hanging from the ceiling.

And that wraps up my three days in the PNW.

Next up - Fourth of July 2017!!
