Juice Reboot: Days 5 & 6

I hope all you out there in blog land had a wonderful weekend.

I know I've been all over the place with the juice reboot, but I've finally come to a conclusion.

I need to work out. My body craves it. I can't work out just juicing, so it's official. I'm eating and juicing.

This isn't all bad. I'm now down 10 lbs and am making healthy choices. Once I got my super bad meal in, I haven't craved any other bad foods.

This started on day 5. I was at my parents and I was crabby. I was light headed all day. Didn't have any motivation to do anything. My dad was making salsa and I had a couple chips with fresh salsa. Then they ordered pizza. And I ate too much of it, but I finally felt normal. During the day, I did have a delicious juice for breakfast and a rather bad one for lunch.

1/2 cup raspberries
2 apples
3 carrots
2 celery stalk

I wanted more it was so delicious!

Day 6 started out with a juice. I was moving around all day and had planned a work out so I made some whole wheat pasta with marinara sauce. I've noticed I don't have as big of an appetite because I couldn't eat it all, but was fully satisfied.

It was nice to have the energy I needed to get a work out in. It wasn't the same. I couldn't go as long or as hard, but my body thanked me for that workout. It missed it.

I went through all of my clothes today and got rid of everything that was a size 12! I hadn't worn my size 12's (currently a 6-10) in a year so I know I'm not going back there ever again! I have a large bag in the trunk of my car filled with clothes to be donated, AND I can finally fit all of my clothes in my closet and dresser without having to cram it all in.

This is the first time since I moved in to this apartment in October that my room is finally clean and organized! I love my little nook. The chair and trunk are my Great Aunt Dorothy's from when she was little, so the pieces are pushing 100 years old.

This week I'll be back to juicing 70% of my meals, but lunch will be a real, solid meal. Healthy of course!
