The weekend was pretty chillaxed. Didn't do much except really lounge around, make food, drink wine and watch super girly movies and the Vikings football game.
I had a little happy hour with myself on Friday. Wine and edemame from Trader Joe's. Loves!
Pop in the microwave for two minutes, sprinkle with some sea salt and a little soy sauce and dig in. I love snacks like this because they take longer to eat since you have to get the edemame out so you can't just stuff your face with them. Because I would if I could.
Diana and I hung out and watched Magic Mike. If there was any dialogue in the movie, I completely miss it.
I had some ham I had to use up so I experimented with an omelet.
Surprisingly, it tasted really good. One egg, two egg whites, some ham and a slice of cheese with some coffee. Perfect way to wake up. Now only if someone else would have made it for me and brought me breakfast in bed...a girl can dream, can't she?
I did get my butt up and off the couch for a couple of lame-a-licious runs.

I had been craving a 3 mile run for a couple days, so I laced up and explored the new hood until I got 3 miles in. I was feeling better from my cold, but clearly not 100%. I got back and had to lay down and strip my clothes off I was burning up and thought I was going to pass out.
Do you ever get that sensation? Your eyes start to go dark, you get a little dizzy and your body temp rises? I do, obviously, and I just have to listen to my body and chill out and take it easy.
Sunday, I wanted to run again, but this time I just did one lap around the block and then did my core challenge! I'm really digging this challenge. I'm counting last week as a complete wash, so I'll be doing this challenge every day until Sunday when I'll pick a new challenge.
