I'm getting more disciplined with myself and eating right because I hate the feeling I get when I let myself down, so I'm just not letting that happen.
I mentioned this is a busy week and that I would be gone every night. Well last night I had 45 minutes between when I got home from work and when I had to leave to go to volleyball. I reheated some left over brown rice, mixed it in with the chicken meat from my crock pot chicken and ate that while I chopped carrots and lettuce and boiled eggs. It made for a great salad to have with my rice and chicken and then again today for lunch.
I had one margarita during our two hour wait to play for the 1 & 2 spot (we lost), and Sensor Fries. I'm blaming the loss on the fries. My stomach and fries have been in a constant battle lately, so I try to avoid them, but it was the only thing that sounded good.
I know the croutons are a no-no. Sue me. I'm not giving up my croutons. I was pleasantly full from this lunch of romaine lettuce, pulled chicken, carrots, hard boiled egg and some cheese with dressing on the side. I eat lunch super early. Like at 11:00 AM, so by late afternoon I'm ready for a snack. Today it was a Clif Bar.
I love to make my own dressing with olive oil and balsamic oil and either adding garlic or salt do taste and for texture. My mom says you can add mustard and that will give it a different taste too. I just got a new mustard that I might try next time.
Here's where I'm going to struggle. I'm meeting my cousin from Milwaukee for happy hour right after work then I'm heading straight to the Twins game. Really, is there anything remotely clean to eat at a baseball stadium? Beer? No. Hot dog? No. Nachos? No.
